EEPL’s 5 kW system has been designed specifically to match its environment. It does not block the flow of water in the river, and thus offers no impediment to fish migration.
The turbine can be either raised or lowered in the water to adjust for varying flow conditions. This allows for a variety of installation methods.
The rotor speed has also been specially matched to the best guidelines available for the protection of fish passing through the turbine.
EEPL’s 5 kW system is suited for rural electrification, captive generation and grid tie in. The system is produced with electrical applications in mind and ready to feed electricity as soon as it is installed.
